TERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of mobile sports therapy and massage services by the Practitioner (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking an appointment, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable laws.

2. Professional Status & Insurance

The Practitioner is a qualified Sports Therapist, registered as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.

The Practitioner holds a BSc in Sports Therapy, a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage, PHCIS Level 2, and is a member of The Society of Sports Therapists.

All services are delivered under full professional liability insurance.

3. Services Provided

The Practitioner provides mobile sports therapy and massage sessions at the client’s chosen address.

Services are intended to assist recovery, support performance, and promote wellbeing.

No guarantee is made regarding the outcome of any treatment.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate and complete health, injury, and medical information prior to and during treatment.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the treatment environment at their premises is safe, hygienic, and suitable.

If, in the Practitioner’s reasonable opinion, the environment is unsafe or unsuitable, the Practitioner may refuse or terminate treatment. In such cases, the deposit will be retained and the full fee may still be payable.

Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

5. Booking & Deposits

A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.

The deposit secures the appointment and covers preparation and travel costs.

The deposit is refundable if cancellation is made more than 72 hours in advance (see Refund Policy).

6. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance: deposit refunded in full.

Cancellations made between 72 hours and 24 hours in advance: deposit retained, but the client may reschedule once without additional loss.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: the full session fee is payable unless otherwise agreed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Failure to attend, provision of an incorrect address, or refusal of access will result in the full session fee being charged.

7. Payment

Full payment (less deposit) is due on or before the appointment date.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.

8. Health & Safety

Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or contraindications before treatment.

The Practitioner reserves the right to refuse or adapt treatment if deemed unsafe.

9. Liability

The Practitioner accepts no liability for:

Injuries or conditions not disclosed prior to treatment.

Adverse outcomes where advice or aftercare guidance is not followed.

Loss, damage, or injury occurring at the client’s premises.

Liability is strictly limited to the scope of the Practitioner’s professional insurance policy and capped at the total fees paid by the client in the preceding 12 months.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Practitioner from any claims, costs, or damages arising from your failure to disclose relevant health information, or from unsafe conditions at the treatment location.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is collected, stored, and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Client records are confidential and securely maintained.

11. Force Majeure

The Practitioner shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accident, transport disruption, extreme weather, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
